These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Thermopompe Montréal regarding the use of our services. If you do not agree with any of these terms, we ask you not to use our services.
2. Services
Thermopompe Montréal offers the following main services:
- Installation: Professional installation of residential and commercial heat pump systems.
- Maintenance: Preventive and corrective maintenance services for HVAC systems.
- Repair: Emergency repair service available 24/7.
- Commercial Systems: HVAC solutions for businesses, hotels, and commercial spaces.
- Ducts and Ventilation: Installation and maintenance of duct and ventilation systems.
- Energy Consulting: Consultation for optimizing energy consumption.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.
3. Quotes and Prices
All quotes are valid for 30 calendar days from their issuance, unless otherwise indicated. Prices are subject to change without notice before formal acceptance of a quote.
Quotes are based on the information provided by the client and on the technical evaluation carried out by our staff. Any modification to the scope of work may result in price adjustments.
Prices include labor, standard materials, and equipment as specified in the quote. Additional work not provided for in the original quote will be billed separately.
4. Payments
Payment terms are as follows:
- For installation services: 50% deposit upon acceptance of the quote and 50% upon completion of installation.
- For maintenance services: Full payment upon completion of service or according to the contracted plan.
- For repairs: Full payment upon completion of service.
- For commercial projects: According to the terms agreed upon in the specific contract.
We accept payments in cash, by bank transfer, and by credit/debit cards. For larger projects, we offer financing options that will be detailed in the commercial proposal.
In case of late payment, we reserve the right to suspend services and apply interest charges according to applicable laws.
5. Warranties
Our warranties vary depending on the type of service:
- Installation: 1 to 5 years warranty on equipment (depending on manufacturer) and 1 year on labor.
- Maintenance: 30 days warranty on the service performed.
- Repair: 90 days warranty on replaced parts and labor.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship under normal conditions of use. The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accidents.
- Normal wear and tear of components.
- Damage caused by electrical fluctuations or extreme environmental conditions.
- Repairs or modifications performed by personnel not authorized by Thermopompe Montréal.
- Lack of regular maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations.
To claim the warranty, the client must present the invoice or corresponding service proof.
6. Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Thermopompe Montréal:
- Provide professional services with qualified and certified personnel.
- Use quality materials and equipment compliant with manufacturer specifications.
- Respect agreed service deadlines.
- Comply with safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Insure our technicians and our operations.
Client Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate information about their needs and the current condition of their equipment.
- Ensure safe and adequate access to work areas.
- Inform of any special conditions that may affect installation or service.
- Follow usage and maintenance recommendations provided.
- Make payments according to agreed terms.
Thermopompe Montréal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use or inability to use our services.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance: No charge.
- Cancellations between 24 and 48 hours before service: 25% of the service value.
- Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance: 50% of the service value.
- No-show without prior notice: 100% of the service value.
Rescheduling:
- Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
- Rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to additional fees.
For installation projects with a deposit, cancellations are subject to the following conditions:
- Cancellation before equipment order: 80% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation after equipment order: No refund of the deposit.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to Thermopompe Montréal, including, but not limited to, trademarks, logos, designs, texts, graphics, software, images, and other content are the exclusive property of Thermopompe Montréal or its licensors.
No part of our website or our materials may be reproduced, modified, distributed, or used in any way without our prior written consent.
9. Privacy
The collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms of Use.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Modifications will take effect immediately upon their publication on our website.
It is the client's responsibility to regularly review the Terms of Use. Continued use of our services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
